THOMAS FOUGERON: BIOGRAPHY

Passionate about cards since childhood, Thomas Fougeron played poker during his studies and participated in numerous games. He subsequently discovered poker on-line where he had some great performances that allowed him to get qualify to many events, such as WPT, WSOP and EPT. Considered by both observers and opponents as an aggressive player at the table, he was nicknamed 'The furious French man'. His first noteworthy results started in 2005 with, among others, 5th place in the Italian championship in February and three final tables at the Paris Open in May.
More recently, he was ranked 8th at EPT in Dortmund in March 2007 and 3rd at Paris Open in 2008. From now on he is part of the important players participating in the

biggest world tournaments where he likes to feel the pressure and the adrenaline. He unquestionably is one of the best players in French Poker.

Despite a busy timetable due to competitions, Thomas Fougeron strives to meet the poker fans by making himself available and accessible. Throughout many world events he travels to meet Internet users, mainly during the EPT finals in Monte Carlo in 2008, where the players who qualified via Poker770 will have the chance to spend some time with him. Together with Pascal Perrault, another big champion of the Team770, he cares about sharing his passion and experience. He organises poker coaching for new and improving players, where for 10 days the participants can benefit from their knowledge and (re)discover all poker aspects, such as the strategy, the psychology and body language... all of which takes place in a paradise-like setting.
